Who is responsible
Kalmit s. r. o. decides why and how your details are used, which makes it the controller for everything described here.
What we collect
Only what is needed to answer you and to supply goods. Nothing is bought from third parties, and there is no profiling.
When you send an enquiry
Your name, email address, the enquiry type and your message. A delivery location is optional. Whatever you choose to put in the message field is collected with it, so please do not send anything sensitive there.
When you order
A delivery address, billing details where they differ, a contact number for the carrier, and the order record itself.
When you browse this site
Nothing. This site sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser — the cookie notice sets out exactly what that means.
Why, and on what basis
How long we keep it
Retention follows the reason for holding the record rather than one blanket period.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us to do the following, free of charge and within the period the law sets.
- Tell you what we hold about you, and give you a copy
- Correct anything wrong or out of date
- Delete what we no longer have a reason to keep
- Restrict what we do with it while a question is resolved
- Hand it to you, or to another provider, in a portable format
- Object to processing we justify by legitimate interest

Complaints
Please raise it with us first — most questions are a misunderstanding that one email settles.
You also have the right to complain to the Slovak supervisory authority, the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic (Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov Slovenskej republiky), or to the authority where you live or work.
